We visited Villajoyosa (a small town just north of Alicante) for a week over Christmas and on the way stopped at a goat cheese farm that we had read good things about.

Queseria Hoya de la Iglesia is located inland from Valencia and we booked a guided visit which included tasting the cheese and sipping some wine! It was a great way to learn a little more about some of the local Spanish cheeses. They had their own goat cheese plus sheep and cow cheese that they brought in from other farms and then processed and matured in their own way.
