The why and the how….

We have talked about going to Spain to live on and off for many years and life always seemed to get in the way. When we were a few years from retiring we decided why wait any longer and started making our plans to leave Australia and live in Spain for 2 years. We did not want to move permanately but live here long enought to enjoy and absorb life in Spain and also travel thoughout Europe.

We are fortunate that my husband was born in Spain. His family migrated to Australia when he was 3 years old. This allows us to move here and for me to apply for residency since I am the spouse of a European citizen.
