Our Spanish villa in Santillana del Mar.

Our home for the next 3 nights, is this wonderful home in Santillana del Mar, a small medieval village in the autonomous community of Cantabria.

It has been wonderful to have family visit and to catch up with everybody.
The doors are made so nobody can escape in a hurry.
Salvador’s bedhead has been keeping him holy.

Santillana del Mar is a beautiful, very well preserved medieval village. The church we can see from our villa is a monastry built in 870 that was then used as a church from the 11th century.

Tomorrow we head to a village near Bilbao, Eskudai (Basque) for a couple of nights before we farewell the Jordan/Lyons family.
